Linking your BackChart account to your Kareo account

 Linking your Accounts

In order to link your Kareo account to your BackChart® account please provide the following information:

  1. Your Kareo Customer Key
  2. The username and password of an administrative level Kareo user (We suggest adding a new user to your Kareo account)

Finding your Kareo Customer Key

1. Visit the “My Account” section of Kareo’s help site and log in with your Kareo log in credentials: https://help.kareo.com/login

2. Once logged in, click the the link “Get Customer Key”.

Customizing Patient Portal Emails

There are 4 email types:

Password created – The email that is sent to the patient when you first create their account.  It contains the link for the patient to create their password

Password Reset – The email that is sent to the patient when they click the forgot password button.  It contains the link for the patient to create a new password.

New Assigned Item – The email that is sent when the patient is assigned an item to complete

Assigned Item Reminder – This email is sent on the date specified when assigning the item.  It will be sent to the patient up to 4 times until the item is completed.

Available Variables:

  • Company Name
  • Patient Portal Provider Name
  • Patient’s First Name
  • Patient’s Last Name
  • Patient’s Email Address
  • Password Reset Link (Used with create password email and reset password email

EMAIL_REPLYTO The email address any replies from the patient are sent to
EMAIL_FROM The email address the email is sent from.Please note: if you would like the emails to come from you, you will need to provide your email server address, the email account, and the password for the account. noreply@backchart.com
EMAIL_SERVER Optional: Only needed if you would like the emails to come from your email address.
The address of your email server.

BackChart® COS Update – May 29, 2012

There are many minor enhancements included in this release:

  • A Clinical Summary quick generate button
  • A warning that you have unsaved work when closing the browser window
  • When adding an item to the Problem List from the Incident window, the Dx date will also be added
  • Added a Patient Portal permission for Incident information
  • When enabling Patient Portal access, all the permissions will be checked by default
  • Improved Incident selection when assigning Outcome measures

 

Clinical Summary Quick Generation

Located on each report is a button that automates the process of generating a Clinical Summary.  This button generates a Clinical Summary that includes all active Problems, Medications, and Allergies, as well as, all Lab results.
